Steppeulvene – Danish language for The Steppe Wolves
- was a Danish rock band which despite its short life has become the icon for the Danish hippie music scene.
- Their name was taken from the novel Steppeulven (1927) written by Hermann Hesse.
The band was originally formed by lyricist and lead singer Eik Skaløe and composer Stig Møller. In addition, the band consisted of Søren Seirup on bass and Preben Devantier on drums.
